JOB SUMMARY: The Development Coordinator advances Goodwill Central Oklahoma’s mission by managing donor data, analyzing giving trends, and providing insights to optimize fundraising strategies. This role oversees donor database operations, tracks grant deadlines, and supports donor stewardship efforts while assisting with fundraising campaigns and event logistics. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management tools, and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. Additionally, this role involves drafting donor solicitation letters, stewardship materials, and impact reports.
Starting Pay: $24.04 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Donor Data Management & Analytics:
- Oversee and maintain donor management systems (e.g., Classy and DonorDock) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct regular data audits, segmentation, and analysis to inform fundraising strategies and improve donor engagement.
- Generate and present reports on donor retention, giving patterns, and campaign performance.
Grant Tracking & Deadline Management
- Maintain the grant calendar, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Assist in collecting data and supporting documentation for grant applications and reports.
Donor Stewardship & Communications
- Draft and refine donor solicitation letters, impact reports, and stewardship communications.
- Ensure timely donor acknowledgments and personalized engagement strategies.
- Maintain and update donor mailing lists to optimize outreach efforts.
Event & Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and coordinating donor-focused events, including donor tracking and post-event analysis.
- Provide administrative support for development campaigns and initiatives.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with donor management platforms (e.g., Classy, DonorDock, or similar) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, data analytics or a related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in donor database management, fundraising analytics or nonprofit development.
- Experience with donor management platforms such as Classy, DonorDock, or similar donor management systems preferred.
- Strong written and communication skills, with experience drafting donor facing materials.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for donor engagement materials, impact reports, and event collateral.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
